Entropia Universe is a Sci-Fi MMORPG virtual universe, which has been online since 2003. It is an engaging first- or third person experience with a huge amount of freedom. Do you want to be a hunter, miner, or crafter? Or maybe a healer hairdresser, trader, running a space taxi service, or being a full-time manager of your owned lands and properties? The choice is yours!
The game is free, but it is based on a unique economy system where the in-game currency, PED, is pegged to the USD. 10 PED equals 1 USD, and you can buy PED for USD, or earn them for free in-game. You can then spend the PED on items or activities in the game where you can earn more PED. With a mix of skill and knowledge, and a sprinkle of luck, you can earn a lot more than you spent. What makes Entropia Universe unique is that you can then convert the PED back to USD, and withdraw them from the game.
